“Markets across the Asia-Pacific have seen high growth rates in the digital payments space in the last couple of years. People and businesses are willing to try and adopt digital payments. Even the financial regulators have been forward-thinking and open to experimenting with new technologies. These factors have created the perfect opportunity for Pismo’s all-in-one, cloud-native platform to help banks, financial institutions, and fintechs meet customers’ growing demand and expectations by being agile, innovative, scalable, and resilient. Pismo’s modular technology solution can support the entire payments value chain, from issuers to acquirers, and I am excited to be part of this journey,” says Varun Dudeja.

Pismo launched its regional operations in Asia in April this year with the opening of an office in Singapore and the announcement of a strategic partnership with OneConnect, the leading technology as a service (TaaS) provider and an associate of Ping An Group. The office in Singapore follows the opening of Pismo’s US and Europe offices in 2021 and is part of the company’s globalisation strategy. In time, the office will also become the hub for all of Pismo’s product support in South East Asia.
