With extensive experience building fast-growing digital platforms and SaaS companies as a founder, entrepreneur, and investor, Faktor will help DreamBox scale its highly efficacious reading and mathematics solutions, robust data and analytics, and job-embedded professional development programming to more school districts nationwide. Faktor is a serial technology entrepreneur with a passion for learning and community. She is the co-CEO and co-founder of Disco, the venture backed all-in-one learning community platform. Prior to launching Disco, Faktor helped scale Wattpad to over 80 million users before it was acquired by Naver for USD660 million. She’s also a venture partner at Lobby Capital and a frequent speaker on the future of learning, innovation, and thriving in uncertainty.

Faktor joins DreamBox as the company partners with district leaders to help identify where students are in their learning and deploy strategies to accelerate student learning without adding any additional burden on teachers. For example, Pinellas County Schools in Florida found that students who completed an average of five or more DreamBox Math lessons per week for eight weeks increased more than five national achievement percentile points compared to students with low DreamBox usage. Additionally, students in grades 3-8 in Catoosa County School District in Georgia who used DreamBox Reading (formerly Reading Plus) averaged 2.2 reading level gains.
