Graystone Capital Advisors, a leading investment sales brokerage, has promoted Shannon Bona to First Vice President. Shannon joined Graystone Capital Advisors in 2021 and since has been a top producing agent in the firm. Shannon is the Broker of Record for both Florida & Connecticut. With over a decade of experience, she has closed nearly $1 Billion in commercial sales during her career.
Together, with her partner Julius Swolsky, Shannon leads Graystone’s Net Lease team’s growth nationwide. She has also spearheaded Graystone’s expansion into the Southeast market as Broker of Record of Florida, where she also resides.
Shannon specializes in investment sales of shopping centers and net lease assets, with specific expertise in sale leasebacks, 1031 exchanges, and managing developer and institutional client relationships. Through fortifying strong relationships, Shannon has partnered with a wide variety of real estate owners, such as REIT’s, private equity funds, high net-worth individuals, family offices, and developers.

Staring her career at PNC Real Estate, Shannon completed the national bank’s prestigious credit training and Corporate & Institutional Banking Development Program. Her clientele ranged from private to institutional clients, lending across all product types from new construction to portfolio lines of credit. Shannon then transitioned into investment sales at Marcus & Millichap where she thrived as a team leader, and received the Rookie of the Year award. Shannon is also a graduate of Villanova University, holding a degree in both Finance and Real Estate and is an active council member for Villanova’s the Daniel M. DiLella Center for Real Estate.
