GoldenTree Asset Management, a global asset management firm with over $51 billion in assets under management, recently announced the hiring of Shawn Mathew as Partner and Head of Corporate Strategy, a newly created role. Mathew will be based in the firm’s newly opened Dallas office and will report to Kathy Sutherland, GoldenTree’s CEO. He joined GoldenTree from Sixth Street, where he was a Managing Director responsible for Corporate Strategy, Financial Planning, and Corporate Accounting.
