Leading Wallet as a Service (WaaS) provider Web3Auth pioneers account abstraction Safe has partnered with Safe to announce the launch of SafeAuth.
Industry sources added that simplifying onboarding through account abstraction has been a common concept in the crypto industry, but SafeAuth, which combines the power of Web3Auth and Safe, now allows users to quickly create a Safe Smart Account wallet, Masu. This curbs the requirement for conventional seed phrases with social login secured by multi-party computation, significantly increasing user convenience and security.

SafeAuth has interoperability at its core, allowing users to connect with hundreds of dApps with one smart account. Similar to how you use a single social login or email to interact with different applications, SafeAuth combines Safe{Wallet} and Safe{Core}’s hundreds of dApps into a single, consistent Connect with one smart account. With this partnership, SafeAuth will ensure that each smart account, once created, is associated with a social login, making it portable and accessible like EOA (like Metamask). This means you’ll be able to seamlessly interact with over 190 applications, including Aave, CowSwap, and more, using any interface, including Safe{Wallet}, among others. This brings unprecedented ease and connectivity to users’ digital experiences.
